In June 1996, when John Major was Prime Minister, John Grisham's "The Runaway Jury" topped the best-seller lists, and England's football dreams were dashed in a penalty shootout, an ambitious new venture was born in a modest office in south-east London. With just a team of two, we embarked on a journey with a grand vision: to deliver tailored, adaptable, and world-class training for clients navigating the global landscape.

Our journey began with a remarkable milestone – preparing the front-of-house staff for the prestigious Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in October 1997. The world's eyes were on the Edinburgh International Conference Centre during those four intense days, and it was a testament to the EICC and Babel's dedication to rise to the occasion.
