Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important time of the year for the Chinese. Celebrations usually last 16 days, from New Year's Eve to the 15th day of the New Year – the Lantern Festival. In 2022, Chinese New Year is 1 February and China’s public holiday will be from 31 January to 6 February.
Each Chinese New Year is characterised by one of 12 animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac. It is divided into 12 blocks (or houses) just like its western counterpart, but with one major difference – each house has a time length of one year instead of one month.
2022 is the Year of the Water Tiger. The Tiger is considered to be brave, cruel, forceful and terrifying, and is the symbol of power and lordliness in Chinese culture. In ancient times, people usually compared emperors or kings with tigers. The Chinese zodiac Tiger sign entitles people born in the Year of the Tiger to be natural leaders. They are adventurous, ambitious and have a strong sense of justice, but may be also a little arrogant and impetuous.
Recent Years of the Tiger are 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 and 2010.

It is not easy for singles to start dating in 2022. They need to be more tolerant. Married couples should take extra care of their partner, especially their emotions.
Most compatible with a Tiger: Generally speaking, Tigers can get along well with people in signs of the Horse, Dog or Pig, who can be the best partners in their marriage life, and their relationship will be sweet and everlasting.
Least compatible with a Tiger: Unfortunately, people in signs of the Ox, Snake, Goat or Monkey will conflict with each other in their zodiac compatibility. Life will be a tragedy for both of them.
Tigers present different personalities and character traits according to various elements. In Chinese culture, all the things are composed of the five elements including Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.
